Beauty abounds at Elizabeth Park when the roses reach their peak bloom in early June! As rosarian and rose garden curator, Stephen leads visitors on tours of the roses, peppered with rose lore and gardens history at 11 AM and again at 1 PM. The Helen S Kaman Rose Garden is the oldest public rose garden in the United States and among the largest rose gardens in the country. The Heritage Rose Garden is Elizabeth Park's garden of exceptionally old varieties of roses, some of which predate 1867. Tours are free and open to all visitors. No registration required.
